Swedish for Immigrants is a free Swedish course for all newcomers to Sweden. In our school we care about your individual needs and focus on preparing you for entering the Swedish labour market as well as living in your new country.
We have a special job focus at Eductus, Sollentuna which means that you have an opportunity to work closely with a separate teacher who assists you in different job related issues. For example, you can receive help in finding a place to do internship somewhere in Stockholm so you can practice your skills. In other words- learning by doing.
We use a mixture of standard lectures and individual studies during our class times. You will be using a book called Språknyckeln for studying at home, which can be borrowed from the school. Besides that, every Friday you will have a chance to test what you have learned at home.
We go on field trips, have workshops at school and arrange many other activities that will make your studies interesting and varied.
We have a separate course for learning how to read and write, which is a priority in todays society.
